As Managing Director of BASE-MINT, a premier Marketing + Creative agency, I oversee branding and content marketing initiatives for clients across a broad range of industries—including automotive dealerships, wholesale distribution, hospitality, events & exhibitions, manufacturing, and security services. We collaborate closely with our clients to ensure their marketing efforts are grounded in strategic planning, precise execution, and timely delivery.

I recently transitioned from my role as Director of Sales at Hazan Media Group, home to DJ LIFE Mag and the DJX Show, where I focused on driving revenue growth, cultivating strategic brand partnerships, and delivering value through a blend of sales and marketing expertise.

My experience reflects over a decade of building brands, strengthening client relationships, and navigating the evolving landscape of media and marketing—but my journey started much earlier.

DJing and marketing have always been my two first loves. I initially honed my marketing skills to promote myself as a DJ. In sixth grade, I built my first website, designed my first business card, and hustled the Chicago DJ market in every way a thirteen-year-old could. My goal was to position myself as a polished and professional entertainer within the local scene. That groundwork led to early opportunities—like being hired by UNICEF to DJ a black-tie fundraiser at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.

Throughout high school, I remained active in the Chicago DJ circuit while balancing another priority: earning the rank of Eagle Scout. My involvement with the Boy Scouts of America began in kindergarten and culminated in one of my proudest early achievements. After achieving Eagle Scout, I continued giving back by working at Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan Scout Reservation, a Boy Scout summer camp in northern Wisconsin.

I later earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a Minor in Psychology from Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont. During college, I maintained a steady schedule of DJ gigs—weddings, corporate events, nightlife, and fundraisers—while also booking work for other DJs in my network.

After graduation, I accepted a position as Social Media Manager in the Electrical Wholesale Distribution industry, where I worked from 2017 to 2022. Wanting to combine my passions for marketing and the DJ industry, I then joined Hazan Media Group as Director of Sales, selling digital advertising and sponsorships for DJ LIFE Mag and the DJX Show.

Looking ahead, I plan to continue advancing my education in marketing and sales while growing BASE-MINT’s impact across industries.

Outside of work, I’m honored to serve on the board of directors for the Friends For A_DOG Foundation. Our mission supports Vermont youth through music, visual arts, and skateboarding programs, while also raising awareness for the Be The Match program and awarding an annual scholarship in memory of Andy “A_DOG” Williams.
